Posted September 1, 2026

Lithios Inc. is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide FEL-1 through FEL-3 engineering services for a lithium extraction demonstration plant in the Southern US.

The scope covers multidisciplinary basic engineering — process, mechanical and piping, civil and structural, electrical, instrumentation and controls, cost estimating, and scheduling — through a Class 3 capital cost estimate and a basic engineering design package suitable to proceed with detailed engineering.

The Project is funded in part by an award from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E). Bidders must be U.S. entities and must perform the work in the United States. Any resulting contract will include federally required flow-down provisions.

Interested firms should contact hello@lithiosinc.com to request the RFP package, which will be released following execution of a mutual non-disclosure agreement. Proposals are due September 14, 2026.
